TRANSFORMERS 1984 CLASSIC

TRANSFORMERS 1984 CLASSIC
OPTIMUS PRIME (DELUXE From Leader For the Ages box)

Rating:

Robot Mode: 10
Alternate or Truck Mode: 6
Articulation: 10

From my point of view these is an accurate version of Optimus Prime. The Robot mode keeps these toy shines on all aspect. The head, the shoulders, the chest it is definitely an accurate version of the famous G1. The only noticeable difference is the knee pads it has 3 dotted lines on both knee pads where in the original cartoons doesn’t have. Also the whole design of the legs is somewhat different from G1 but it doesn’t matter as long as half of it was accurate these is the best affordable version of Prime. Most of the toy is made from a hard plastic. There is hardly no die cast parts on these one except from some screws but that doesn’t count. Details are really superb. Articulation is top notch I like the whole body rotating punch action when you push the black button on the back of Prime.

These Prime is actually a kneeler and he sure pass the high kick balance test and he can also actually do the splits but almost. These Prime is somewhat different from the voyager class of Transformers Classic and it is small like it is in par with a 1/144. Also the noticeable part is his gun. The gun here resembles like of a Tommy gun. The Gun of Optimus Prime can also be transformed into some kind of small gun that can be put on the back of Prime when he is on a truck mode. The transformation from robot mode to truck mode is relatively and you can easily follow the instruction manual without a hitch.

While on the alternate mode of Prime I think the truck mode is average not really an accurate version of the old Prime. The truck is more like of a crane less tow truck rather than a real bad ass truck. The truck is long compare to the old version. You can hardly see some seats inside the window of Prime. There are hardly some oddly miss proportions on the cab of the truck mode. The wheels firmly touch the ground and it rolls very well no miss proportion. The truck mode is somewhat detailed to its form.

In conclusion to the review if you want to have an accurate version of Prime this one is very affordable. By the way these Prime comes from a two pack deluxe called Leader for the Ages. Two Primes for the prize of one. These Prime is classified as a 1984 release while the other Prime that comes from the Deluxe is the 2007 Optimus Prime from the live action movie. I only review these Prime because I like the accurate version of it. I bought these one from Greattoysonline and it cost around 1500.

The only reason why I bought these is because it is cheap compared to the other Prime deluxe the other one that I was talking about is with Megatron it cost around 2000 plus. So I opted out for the cheaper ones. This is highly recommended if you want to have two Primes at once and it was really cheap too.

TF Transformers Movie Bumble Bee Camaro 08

I know right now that this character from the new movie is really a hot commodity for Transformers action figure collectors. Most of the time that I went to the malls hunting for the BB Camaro 08 it’s always been out of stocks. But when I accidentally saw one piece on the shelves the price tag was high and I can’t afford one. It seems that the stocks are running dry during the last few months. Alas when I went to the malls again to canvas for some new toys to buy I saw lots of BB Camaro 08 on the shelves but the price is still high. So I ignored it and went away. When I’m back again after a few weeks on the same malls that I went too. I was shock the price of Camaro 08 has a price drop. Let’s say from 100% down to 70% or 60% of its price not bad for a price drop. Maybe the BB Camaro 08 is in full swing again and will be having full stock for now. I know most of TF Collectors are bashing some stores that have a high price of BB Camaro 08. Maybe they were reading it and answered our prayers. So enough of the ranting and I’ll continue my review of the Camaro 08 that has been bugging me for a while.

If your a fan of both the character and the movie then add this toy to your collection, collectors wont regret getting bumblebee. Just be patient on his transformation and it will be all worth your time. The packaging seen in transformers is pretty well creative and such. It shows the figures alt mode quit nicely and well makes it look really good. The alternate mode of TF Movie Bumble Bee isn’t exactly a Camaro. It’s a Camaro concept car and it was really referred to as the new 2009 model. The alternate mode of it was pretty nice too and it was in the same scale as of the other Deluxe class like Barricade, Jazz, and Longarm.

Transformation is somewhat really tricky if your are a novice or a first timer in handling its first transformation. Your going to have to result on reading the manual first before transforming this beautiful toy.

The transformation goes like this you open up the doors on both of each sides, pull the legs down a bit, pull both of its shoulder down a little. Rotate the top pieces of the car then pull down the hood rotate the arms and putting the chest on to its final place. The legs splits and take the feet and pull it out. Also pull the window back inside of the leg and the back end rises up. So that’s it you have now transformed Bumble Bee on to its full glory on destroying the Decepticons.

Surprisingly the Bumblebee’s robot mode is really in par with the on screen appearance of it maybe not exactly how it is. You could see some of the details of it like faux bent license plate near the waist area, although the vehicle mode doesn't have a license plate. The doors pop out of the shoulders like wings, and the grille splits into multiple sections, just like in the movie. The paint and some details of it is really good but the largely black face, like most TF movie figs, is severely lacking paint detail.

Bumblebee is highly articulated, though what can truly be considered a point of articulation, some parts do really move simply for some transformation purposes and other gimmicks. He's got a balljoint at the neck, balljoints in the shoulders, peg biceps, hinged elbows, balljoints in the wrist, a balljoint in the waist, balljoints in the hips, multiple hinges in the knee area, hinged ankles, and hinged toes. Not too shabby by any means, although the looseness of the waist is a shame and interferes with posing.

For its accessories, the Bumblebee Camaro 08 gets a gun that vaguely resembles his cannon from the film and that’s really cool. It fits nicely in his hand, and stows between the legs in vehicle mode. You can also sway it from left to right not on a static straight forward looking gun. The gun can be split apart and "auto morphed" into a transparent blue blade which is really so cool. It can be somewhat difficult to extricate from Bumblebee's vice-like grip, so be careful.

Bumblebee is a superb figure like most of the reviews from other people this is really a must have toy. Also this toy is really hot now a days you need to get it fast or you’ll most like be disappointed when it is out of stock.

I've got this one in Greenhills for about 1500. ..... I think the lowest was around 1499 just one petot away from going 1500 hehehe. The highest was still on 1800. I was shock to see a price drop on this hot toy. Maybe our prayers have been answered. I guess the Camaro 08 Bumblebee will have new stocks coming soon. I hope they lower the price range from 1000 pero asa pa hehehe .....

HCM Pro Gundam Dynames

The HCM Pro Dynames is a very good toy and fun to play with althou just be careful with some of its small parts. The articulation is superb all joints are tight. The Dynames includes one GN Sniper Rifle, 1 Beam saber, 1 small saber, a pair of hands one close fist and an open palm. An open tripod and a close tripod for the GN Sniper, two large shields, and 4 small shields. One extra head for a big eye or some sort. An extra clip for the GN Sniper Rifle, a small handler for putting the GN Sniper Rifle on the left or right shoulder. So what did I miss ah two extra antenna's that you can swap for the extra head. Well that's what the HCMPro Dynames has.

Here are some of the HCM Pro Dynames Pics.

About Gundam Dynames:

Gundam Dynames is the frontline artillery mobile suit of the Celestial Being it was piloted by none other than Lock On Stratos. These Gundam possessed the most lethal and advanced sniper gun in its group. Gundam Dynames packs a lethal punch with its powerful sniper gun. The Sniper gun that the Gundam Dynames has is called the GN Sniper Rifle. The GN Sniper Rifle is a powerful sniper gun that can be able to destroy an enemy mobile suit from outer space or a mile away. With its GN Sniper Rifle Gundam Dynames is a lethal killing machine. Gundam Dynames drawback is when his GN Sniper Rifle is out of ammo Dynames is a sitting duck for a close range melee combat. However, to balance for the lost due to its ineffectiveness for a close range combat, Dynames is given a shield and a pistol for a close range protection.

This shield was called GN Shields. These GN Shields has a thick armor that can be able to withstand numerous conventional close range machinegun bullet blasts. There are 2 GN Shields issued for Gundam Dynames to use in combat. One GN Shield is for the standard shield that was used for left and right shoulders and the other one is for the GN Full Shield. The GN full shield can cover half of its body giving in for an extra armor for a close range combat protection. The GN full shield can either be opened or close by its pilot that depends on the combat scenario.

With those GN shields on after a lot of beating from machinegun fire Dynames can draw its own pistol and shot the enemy mobile suit at close range. This powerful short range pistol was called GN beam pistol. GN beam pistol is like a standard beam rifle for use with a mobile suit. The GN Beam pistol also has the same amount of power as of the GN Sniper Rifle but the only difference with it is that the GN Beam pistol is only in short range. Also the GN Beam Pistol power has a lower amount of energy so still it can only take two shots per enemy mobile suit. Another close range weapon for Gundam Dynames was its beam sabers. A beam saber is common to all the Gundams and Mobile Suits. Beam sabers can be there last option to fight on a battlefield.
